The Training Table - Injury Notes for Week 15

For some fantasy owners Week 14 is full of grief from a fantasy loss while others get a  win that has them looking forward to Week 15. The breakout stars and star-studded injuries lit up the NFL in Week 14. Cordarrelle Patterson and Da'Rick Rogers breakout games made them fantasy targets. Week 14 made sure we remembered the injury bug and how it can affect fantasy outcomes in 2013.

Rob Gronkowski was lost for the season with a devastating knee injury. Adrian Peterson's status is up in the air for Week 15 if any of his owners were able to survive the Week 14 early dismissal. IDP players lost a solid safety when  Tyrann “The Honeybadger” Mathieu was lost for the season with a knee injury. Hopefully your teams avoided the injury bug and the rest of your fantasy season is a success.

Arizona Cardinals

Tyrann Mathieu — Safety
Injury Date: December 8, 2013 — Knee Injury

Fantasy Prognosis: Mathieu suffered a torn LCL and ACL and will be placed on season ending IR. Mathieu has time to recover before next season, but may start out on the PUP list in 2014.

Miami Dolphins

Lamar Miller — Running Back
Injury Date: December 9, 2013 — Concussion

Fantasy Prognosis: Miller suffered a concussion in Week 14 and is listed as questionable for Week 15 when the Dolphins play the New England Patriots. Daniel Thomas will get the bulk of the carries if Miller misses the game.
