Week 9 featured plenty of fantasy points and a plethora of fantasy injuries as well. Darren McFragile (McFadden) continued to show why he is difficult to rely on for an entire season. Arian Foster was forced out of the Sunday Night game due to injury before fantasy owners could get him out of their lineups. Arguably the biggest loss in Week 9 occurred in the Thursday night game when the Bengals lost Geno Atkins for the rest of the season.
Although it may not affect a lot of fantasy teams those IDP fantasy footballers would say that is a big loss as well. It could also be argued that the loss of Aaron Rodgers for the next few weeks could affect the playoff picture for the Green Bay Packers. It will certainly effect fantasy football owners.
Another Week shows us why injuries are the rule and durability is the exception to the rule in football. In the Training Table, I will be providing you with recent news and notes as it pertains to injuries all season here at PFF Fantasy.

Injury Date: October 13, 2013 — Toe Injury
Fantasy Prognosis: Mendenhall was back at practice on Monday and appears to be on track to play in Week 10 when the Cardinals play the Houston Texans. Mendenhall may be getting healthy, but will be fighting with Andre Ellington for carries moving forward.
