Most underrated fantasy quarterbacks

The quarterback position has long been a debated one in fantasy football circles, as highlighted by Tyler Loechner in his piece yesterday on the most overrated fantasy quarterbacks. Today I’m going to take a look at the quarterbacks who are being underrated heading into this season.

With the increasingly popular strategy of waiting on quarterback percolating more and more into our fantasy consciousness, knowing which players are being overlooked on draft day can further your advantage in putting together a championship winning roster. If two-thirds of your league-mates are also waiting to draft their signal-caller it’s a nervy situation in seeing which of the last QB1s is on the board for you, and deciding when to swoop in and grab a one. The preference should be to identify a QB who isn’t just good value, but can out-perform their draft status, is important.

The method I’ll use to identify the quarterbacks being under-valued is by primarily comparing their current ranking in ADP data from Fantasy Football Calculator, to our consensus staff rankings, and projections, but I’ll also add in relevant informational nuggets and stats where appropriate.
