StarStreet Pick 5 for Week 10

dm_130617_fantasy_romo_staffordOne of my favorite games over at StarStreet is their Pick 5, which you can play for free each week to win a ticket to other daily games or for money.

The game is simple. There's five player vs. player matchups, and you pick who you think will score more that week. The best part is that you can play straight from our site by clicking here.

Here's this week's Pick 5:

Matthew Stafford vs. Tony Romo

Adrian Peterson vs. LeSean McCoy

Knowshon Moreno vs. Eddie Lacy

A.J. Green vs. Demaryius Thomas

Jordy Nelson vs. TY Hilton

There's some pretty tough choices here, but here's my picks for Week 10:

Tony Romo vs. New Orleans

Tony Romo faces off against the Saints in the dome this week, so it will be tough to come out with a win. But, in order to keep up with the Saints offense, the Cowboys will need to throw the ball early and often, and continue to put up points all game long. Look for Romo to have a huge day.

Adrian Peterson vs. Washington

LeSean McCoy is one of the better backs in the NFL, and should not be benched in any formats, but Adrian Peterson has the best matchup this week, and he is the best runner in the NFL. Expect Peterson to exploit the Redskins front seven on Thursday night and get back to the top of the NFL in terms of rushing yards.

Knowshon Moreno vs. San Diego

Eddie Lacy has been on a tear lately, but goes against the Philadelphia Eagles, who rank among the league's best as far as stopping the run. In addition, the Eagles will key on stopping Lacy with Aaron Rodgers out. Lacy will be in for a long day if he cannot find any gaps. Moreno goes against the San Diego Chargers who do not have anyone to cover him out of the backfield. Moreno should once again catch four or five passes and be the feature back for Peyton Manning and the Denver offense.

Demaryius Thomas vs. San Diego

A.J. Green is coming off a huge game last week, but faces off against the Baltimore Ravens defense, who have done a good job against top wide outs this season. Josh Gordon, Andre Johnson, and Antonio Brown were held to less than stellar games this season, and Green could be the next one “shut down”. Demaryius Thomas faces off against one of the worst secondaries in the NFL, and the Broncos have had a week off to prepare. Expect Thomas to get his fair share of targets and have a great day against the Chargers.

Jordy Nelson vs. Philadelphia

TY Hilton is coming off a career day where he scored three touchdowns. But even with that, he is only averaging 14.7 fantasy points per game. Jordy Nelson has been one of the best receivers in the game this season and should continue against a woeful Cary Williams for the Eagles. Williams is ranked among the worst as far as pass coverage. Despite Aaron Rodgers being out, the Packers will find ways to get Nelson the ball, which bodes well in this matchup for those who select Jordy Nelson.

Don't forget, Pick 5 can be played on our site as well.
