Welcome to Snaps, Pace, and Stats, which takes a macro view of emerging trends in snap totals and no-huddle usage. This year, I’ll be looking at individual players in a Friday column that’s free for non-subscribers and revolves around recommended DraftKings plays.
Week 11 had the third-fewest snaps per game (63.8) and crushed the previous per-team low scoring average (21.3; Week 2) with a miniscule 19.0 point mark. Three teams only ran 46 plays, and they all snapped it more than the Titans, who set a new 2014-low with just 39. Vegas forecasts a Week 12 with plenty of low-scoring and/or blowout games, so let’s try to mine some potential diamonds, while plucking out the fugazis.
