PFF forms partnership with Reese’s Senior Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. (Jan. 20) – When the National Football League converges on Mobile, Ala., for the Reese’s Senior Bowl next week, it will be aided by the pre-eminent provider of advanced football data and analysis.

Pro Football Focus (PFF) and the Reese’s Senior Bowl have formed a partnership for the next two games which will allow the Senior Bowl staff to obtain valuable scouting and statistical data on players coming out of college next year as it builds the 2017 game roster.

“As we built our rosters for the game, we have found their information to be helpful in separating several players from a statistical standpoint,” said Reese’s Senior Bowl Executive Director Phil Savage.

This year, PFF will also have a team of its top analysts in Mobile to break down player performance during Reese’s Senior Bowl practices. They will be using that data, as well as their data from the 2014 and 2015 FBS seasons, to create a series of truly unique scouting profiles on Reese’s Senior Bowl players to be published on their website in the weeks leading up to April’s NFL draft.

“The Reese’s Senior Bowl is the kickoff to the 2016 season and Pro Football Focus is extremely proud to be a part of the Senior Bowl team,” said Pro Football Focus owner Cris Collinsworth.

PFF is the only football data service that grades every NFL and FBS player – on every play of every game. They currently work with more than two-thirds of the NFL clubs, and a growing number of FBS programs as well. Their data is used extensively by the sports media industry and also serves to power PFF’s own award-winning fantasy football data and content website.
