  • Former Raiders and 49ers WR Rod Streater visited with Buffalo Tuesday. He would provide competition for Corey Brown and Andre Holmes as the team’s No. 3 WR behind Sammy Watkins and rookie Zay Jones.
  • Streater spent last season with the 49ers and played in 250 snaps, having only played a combined 100 snaps in the 2015 and 2014 seasons.
  • With an overall PFF rating of 65.2 in 2016, Streater would have been the 81st-ranked WR out of 115 qualifying WRs had he played in enough snaps to qualify. His receiving grade of 63.1 would have also been good enough for the 81st ranking.
  • Streater’s breakout season came in 2013 with the Raiders, when he ranked as the 34th-best WR out of 109 qualifying WRs with a PFF overall grade of 77.8, playing a total of 773 snaps that season.
  • During the 2013 season, Streater was one of the more sure-handed WRs, with a drop rate of only 6.25 percent, good enough for the eighth-best rank among 41 WRs with at least 90 targets.
