Better rookie season: Mariota or Winston?

Both atop PFF’s draft board entering 2015, Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston have each posted highs and lows in their first pro season. Cris Collinsworth and PFF founder Neil Hornsby explain which QB is having the better rookie year.

Tony Dungee might know something, PFF actually charted throws vs pro QBs last year, Mariota was most similar to…Aaron Rodgers…Jameis was most similar to…Tannehill…watch the TD throw MM made to Walker vs the Jags when he made Smith vacate the middle of the field with his eyes and essentially threw a no-look, bullet of a pass to a spot where Walker was going to be…Rodgers-Esque for sure!

I don’t think the guest or host actually took one over the other — but anyways I think Mariota had the better season. I watched Winston play live against the Falcons in Atlanta. He’s impressive. Glad to see both in the NFL making noise.
