  • With uncertainty surrounding C Max Unger’s status for the start of the 2017 season after undergoing foot surgery, the New Orleans Saints have added another body to the interior of their offensive line, signing Josh LeRibeus, formerly of Philadelphia and Washington.
  • LeRibeus has played 918 snaps across four seasons in Washington, aligning at guard in limited action early in his career and most recently starting 11 games at center during the 2015 campaign.
  • During the 2015 season, LeRibeus graded much better as a pass protector than as a run blocker, recording a 76.5 pass block grade compared to a 42.3 run block grade.
  • Among 28 centers with at least 400 pass block snaps in 2015, LeRibeus’s 96.3 pass blocking efficiency ranked 21st.
