Seahawks host quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick, Austin Davis for visits

  • The Seattle Seahawks are in the market for a backup quarterback, bringing in QBs Austin Davis and Colin Kaepernick for visits Wednesday.
  • Davis has played in just 13 games in his career, the bulk of which came in 2014 with the Rams when he started eight games. Kaepernick has played in 69 games and started 11 games last season.
  • In 2014, Davis and Kaepernick tied for 22nd in adjusted completion percentage, each with a mark of 72.6 percent. Last season, however, Kaepernick’s percentage was down to 71.2 percent.
  • Davis fared well under pressure in 2014. His 52.4 completion percentage ranked eighth in the league that year. Kaepernick’s 45.0 completion percentage ranked 25th last season.
