Dallas is in the win mode now. Jerry has said over and over how disappointed he will be if Romo doesn’t win a title in his time in Dallas. I cant see no way Dallas drafts a QB at 4.

I can understand that point of view but inside the board room I think more conservative voices are going to dominate. Being stuck with a great QB who’s perpetually injured means the team is forever going nowhere. That doesn’t mean they can’t put together a run but you have to plan based of what you’ve seen, not what you wish would happen.

Aside from anything else; if Romo does play whole seasons from now on there’s no way they get to pick so high again in the near future. In 2019 when Romo retires fans will be wishing to god that they took a QB when they had the chance even if they got a Pro Bowler at a different spot. QB matters more, when you have the chance you make sure you take it.

I agree somewhat… But do u take a project in Wentz or Goff who could possibly sit for 4 years, almost the duration of his rookie contract, or make a run now in a watered down NFC East and draft Bosa?? Tough call either way I think.

You go for the run. Draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th round. Plenty of guys to develop like Kevin Hogan for example.

  • Justin Sowels

There arent any QBs in this draft good enough that should be drafted 4th overall. Not every winning qb has been drafted top 5, look how many starting qbs in the NFL right now that havent even been drafted in the first round.

So Wentz and Goff are inferior to Mariota and Winston? Yeah right…
