Sam didn’t have much luck a couple of weeks ago when he was the only one to pick the Rams against the Cardinals but he’s on an even bigger flyer this week choosing a team that just got humiliated by the Browns of all teams. Maybe he’s expecting a replay of the 81 Super Bowl but I just don’t see it happening.

Bengals are a bit of an unknown at this point, due to the change at QB. I wouldn’t say the 49ers are likely to win, but there is more uncertainty in the game than normal, and it looks like Sam is trying to leverage that uncertainty in an effort to catch the leaders. It probably won’t work, but Sam is far enough behind that he doesn’t have much to lose in such gambits.

Sam was leading the others at one point this season but then he went into a free fall that rivaled that of the Falcons.

Think ATL may win this week and wouldn’t be surprised to see Giants top Carolina. Pretty sure TB falls to STL; emotional game for Rams; Donald gets after Winston; NO ran pretty well against them

    • crosseyedlemon

There’s plenty of speculation that Tom Coughlin might be gone after this season so you know the Giant players will give it their all to send him out with a memorable win at home….and a victory against the Panthers would certainly qualify.

      • Bruyant

NY can still win its division, so lots to play for besides Tom Coughlin But CAR won’t have scored as much against NO if Breaux hadn’t gone out in the first quarter CAR has weaknesses

  • James Winslow

Why is no one picking the broncos?

    • Bruyant

Have you seen Pitt play lately?

      • James Winslow

They are inconsistent in my eyes. I can understand them being favorites, but I mean come no one voted for them.

    • crosseyedlemon

Who would admit to having a ‘man crush’ on Osweiler instead of Big Ben?

    • Pete

      Because they suck…

      • James Winslow

Ok I guess I will be the only one picking the broncos

  • David Stinnett

How about that mouth guard in the picture up top

    • crosseyedlemon

If a player has to resort to something that hokey to intimidate opponents he’s got a real problem. I’m sure the legendary intimidators of the past like Dick Butkus would find that hilarious.
