Lol, Redskins are not going into Charlotte and winning against one of the best teams in the NFL.

    • Brit

They have a great record, but they’re a mediocre football team.

    • WCYarb

That’s why most folks picked against them :) But you gotta play the games.

    • Scott West

Redskins might match up well enough for this to be close. If Cousins can stay efficient on offense, this will come down to turnovers.

OK I understand that both John Fox and Jay Cutler will be highly motivated to get a win against their former team but even with Peyton Manning looking bad I think the Broncos defense will be too much for the Bears.
Pretty surprised to see the Bengals getting only one vote of confidence here.

    • gobroncos

Manning isn’t playing. Osweiler is the starter this week.

      • crosseyedlemon

Even if a hot dog vendor was starting for the Broncos it’s hard to figure why the Bears would be the 7-4 choice here.

  • gobroncos

I thought commentators weren’t supposed to pick on the games they’re in the booth for. Something about ethics and not favoring one team or the other as a neutral observer.

    • Tim Edell

He doesn’t pick games in which he is announcing..thus only 10 selections on the Cincy-AZ game.

      • gobroncos

I just assumed that since he had the same number of picks that everyone else did that they picked on all the games. My bad. Guess the others get a game they don’t have to pick too?

        • crosseyedlemon

Your not the first person to be confused by the approach used here so don’t beat yourself up over it. I’m still trying to figure out if the overall winner here gets to go head to head with Football Baby once the playoffs begin.

      • gobroncos

And of course, there’s an editor’s note at the beginning of the column stating that Collinsworth won’t be picking on the game he’s announcing. I’m an idiot.
