- According the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Green Bay Packers cornerback Damarious Randall is getting reps at slot corner during OTAs. With the departure of Micah Hyde, who covered most of the slot snaps last season (285), there could be an opportunity for for Randall to bolster his playing time.
- Randall impressed at times during his rookie season and his overall grade of 69.4 ranked near middle of the pack at 63rd among corners. Randall also displayed good ball skills getting his hands on 16% of the targets thrown his way (3 INTs, 13 Pass-breakups).
- In 2016 Randall took a sizable step backwards. His overall grade of 39.6 ranked 108th out of 111 corner backs. He was also tied for the most touchdowns given up at eight. His 2.05 yards-per-cover-snap allowed were the fourth most.
- So far in Randall’s career 94% of his regular season cover snaps have been on the outside.
