OLB Erik Walden remains on Titans radar

  • OLB Erik Walden has remained on the Titans’ radar, despite not hearing from them since his visit at the early portions of free agency.
  • Last season Walden’s overall grade of 41.2 ranked him 104th out of 109 qualified edge defenders. Walden had put together a few good years from 2013-2015, posting grades of 75.8, 79.8 and 67.1 before he slipped in 2016.
  • Walden had 18 total pressures from the left side last season, which was tied for 19th among qualified 3-4 OLBs.
  • Walden’s pass rushing productivity (Pass Rush Productivity measures pressure on per snap basis with weighting towards sacks) of 7.8 ranked him 30th among 37 3-4 OLBs.
  • His 14 stops in the passing game left him tied for 7th out of 44 qualified 3-4 OLBs last season.
