  • The Detroit Lions added a pair of offensive tackles to their roster, sending a 2018 sixth-round pick to the Rams in exchange for Greg Robinson and signing free agent Cyrus Kouandjio. These moves come on the heels of Lions left tackle Taylor Decker’s recent shoulder surgery, which is likely to have him on the sideline to start the season.
  • Robinson, a former No. 2 overall pick, has failed to develop with the Rams, never posting an overall grade higher than 41.3 during his three NFL seasons. His 38.0 overall grade in 2016 ranked 71st out of 78 qualifying tackles.
  • Kouandjio, who, like Robinson, is a member of the 2014 NFL draft class, has had injury troubles and struggled to stay on the field. He’s started just seven games and played a total of 640 snaps during his three seasons in Buffalo. When on the field, however, he has produced solid grades, recording 74.2 and 76.7 overall grades in the past two seasons.
