Jalen Ramsey returns to running after surgery

  • Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey announced on Twitter Tuesday he has returned to running after undergoing core muscle surgery two weeks ago.
  • Ramsey closed his 2016 rookie campaign as PFF’s 21st-highest graded cornerback with a mark of 82.3.
  • He allowed 52.9% of passes thrown in his coverage to be caught, which was the sixth-lowest rate for cornerbacks that faced at least 56 targets.
  • Ramsey finished strong in his final six games. From Weeks 12-17, his 45.8 passer rating against was the second-lowest rating for a cornerback that played at least 70 coverage snaps.
