Is Seattle the NFC’s team to beat come playoff time?

Even with strong showings from Carolina and Arizona this season, Seattle seems to be hitting its stride heading into final leg of the season. Getting Lynch back would tip this team over the edge, but the PFF guys agree that the Seahawks are back.

The key for the Seahawks is catching either Green Bay or Minnesota to get the #1 wildcard. If they get in as the 6th seed they will most likely have to play in Lambeau then at Carolina. If they are the 5th seed they will play their first game at the winner of the NFC East. Either way they will be on the road for 3 games but playing the East compared to possibly at Green Bay would be huge!!

The key for the Seahawks in the playoffs would be finding something in the playbook to run from the opponents 1 yard line besides a pass.

Out of the times that play was used last yr, it only failed once. Sucks but that’s reality. Plus Browner played for the Hawks the yr before and new the play. So I don’t think the playbook was the issue. But that’s just me.

They are half a game behind minnesota now that the cards won on thursday. A win this week puts them at the same record as the vikings with the head to head tiebreaker over them.
