  • Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin told the Kansas City Star that his down 2016 season “wasn’t up to [his] standards,” and that he’s looking to bounce back with a better performance in 2017.
  • Maclin’s 67.2 overall grade last season was the second-worst of his career, bettering only his 2012 campaign. That followed up the best back-to-back seasons of his career, when he posted 84.2 and 81.2 overall grades in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
  • Maclin’s 1.39 yards-per-route-run mark in 2016 was also the second-worst of his career, ranking 59th among 95 wide receivers with at least 250 routes run.
  • A bounce-back season from Maclin would go a long way toward improving a Chiefs' receiving corps that featured only one player with an above-average grade in 2016 (Tyreek Hill).
