- The Cleveland Browns are hopeful guard Joel Bitonio will be ready for the start of the season after undergoing Lisfranc midfoot surgery in October, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
- Bitonio, who hasn’t finished a season since his stellar rookie campaign in 2014, missed the final 11 games of this past season. In his 331 snaps, he earned a PFF pass-blocking grade of 84.8 and a run-blocking grade of 81.3.
- He registered a pass-blocking efficiency rating of 96.7 last season, which ranked 24th out of 56 guards during that five-game stretch.
- Bitonio’s PFF overall grade of 87.8 in 2014 ranked fourth for his position.
