Arizona WR Jaron Brown participates in individual drills at OTAs

  • Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown was seen participating in individual drills in OTAs, his first action since tearing his ACL back in October of 2016
  • While Brown’s 51.9 WR rating from 2016 was surprisingly low, it was based on 24 targets that included two Carson Palmer interceptions. In the previous three years combined, Brown had a 93.45 WR rating.
  • Brown averaged 1.67 yards per route ran last year with 187 yards on 112 receiving routes.
  • Michael Floyd’s release represents 427 routes from 2016, which leaves a healthy 21 percent market share of routes available in 2017.

I’ve said for a long time that 6″3/205pd Jaron Brown (4.39-4.41 40yd) is a better WR than Michael Floyd is , its obvious when he is on the field proof is the pudding. Jaron Brown just never got as many targets as Floyd or as much playing time because AZ didn’t want to give up so easily on Floyd , a former 12th overall 1st round pick but now they have cut the cord.
This year WR Jaron Brown is going to get a lot more playing time though now that he is a starter. With Jaron Brown having elite athleticism/speed w/ excellent very strong hands (39in vertical/4.39 40) & being an excellent route runner I would bet money he has a huge year, their is no reason he can’t put up 75-85 receptions for 900-1100yds w/6-8TDs, he is going to be one of Palmer’s main targets.
AZ is going to have an absolute LOADED stacked elite WR core this season w/ more speed than any other roster in the league and more talent than almost every other with Elite All-Pro WR Larry Fitzgerald coming out of the slot where he is a massive mismatch, Elite premiere deep threat 5″11 now 195pd John Brown (4.29 40) Now fully 110% Healthy, Excellent receiver 5″11/180pd JJ Nelson is developing into a top 10 WR & premiere intermediate-deep threat, of course 6″3 Jaron Brown is back. Rookie
6″2/205pd WR Chad Williams possessing Elite 4.34 40 time w/ world class speed esp deep, elite athleticism with very strong excellent hands he does not drop passes & is very physical w/ elite strength. Fitzgerald said Williams reminds of A. Boldin due to his strength and strong hands that are like a Vice, but a much better comparison is Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant , thats the caliber of WR Chad WIliams is. Williams has been making circus catch’s all mini camp long showing off elite athleticism n has been very hard to cover. Williams is going to play A BIG ROLE in ARI’s offense as a rookie wideout, he is going to be an absolute beast in the NFL. I’d bet he has 75-85 receptions for 800-1,000k yards as a rookie with 5-10TDs, Williams is the real deal.
Arizona also has recently signed 6″3/210pd WR Aaron Dobson who posses elite 4.33 40 speed and looks very very good in mini camp catching everything throw his way as does new coverted WR Andre Ellington (4.39spd) who is extremely dangerous as a short threat out of the backfield n slot…. Lastly not only does Arizona have the best RB in the NFL in Elite All-Pro RB David Johnson whom Pro Football Focus ranked the #1WR in the NFL last year & rookie RB 5″10/200PD Rookie RB TJ Logan doubles as both an excellent WR with Elite 4.37 40 yard dash speed and Elite long speed to boot. The Cardinals offense is stacked up from top to bottom this year.
