Good morning football fans! Here are the five things you need to know coming out of Tuesday to get your morning started right:

  1. John Kosko runs through the biggest remaining need for each NFC team, beginning with the defensive flaw that could keep the Dallas Cowboys out of the Super Bowl this season. He discussed the AFC as well.
  2. Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief says he wants to become more of an explosive player after the catch. Interestingly, Moncrief has seen his average yardage after the catch decline in each of the past two seasons, but he has shown the ability to make plays after the catch, even if it hasn’t come through making defenders miss.
  3. Eagles WR Dorial Green-Beckham was supposed to be the answer to WR issues in both Tennessee and then Philadelphia, but now may be in danger of not even making the Eagles roster when final cuts come. DGB has been consistently underwhelming in the NFL and has yet to find a way to contribute effectively.
  4. Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott wants to be more of an impact runner at the second level in 2017 and beyond. This is a smart thought process from Elliott, who runs behind one of the best blocking units in the NFL and gets sprung to the second level with greater regularity than almost any other runner in football. If he can improve that area of his game, NFL defenses have a lot to be scared of.
  5. Daniel Kelley looks at the underrated fantasy career of Mike Wallace, who has been a top-25 receiver in seven of his eight seasons and has only missed one game in his career. With not much in the way of new faces in Baltimore, Wallace's role is secure.
