PFF Week: Out West, Week 11

PFF-Week-Out-WestIt’s your last chance to get caught up on the happenings at PFF before the next slate of games is upon us and our new ‘PFF Week’ posts provide quick access to the week that was. The ‘Out West' edition covers all things pertaining to the AFC and NFC West divisions for a one-stop Saturday shop built to keep you in the loop and on top of your football-watching game.

Finally, we arrive at maybe the most anticipated game of the 2013 season as the Kansas City Chiefs bring their unblemished record to the stadium formerly known as Mile High to take on the 8-1 Denver Broncos. That game overshadows a second great matchup as the 49ers take on the Saints. Every West team still has at least a puncher's chance at the playoffs and some are already fighting for playoff seeding and home-field advantage.

Week 10 Wrap

Last week featured a number of tough games for the West teams in action and they came out a combined 4-3 with the best wins being the Rams' unexpected blowout of the Colts and the Cardinals holding serve at home with a win over the Case Keenum-led Texans. A number of West team stars are featured in our ReFocused articles such as Colin Kaepernick and his struggles as well as a potential breakout game from Rams' rookie Tavon Austin.

Looking Ahead to Week 11

Week 11 features a potential game of the year candidate between the Chiefs and Broncos in Denver, Percy Harvin's return to face his former Vikings' squad, and two teams fighting for playoff position in the NFC in San Francisco and New Orleans. How the opposing teams cover star offensive skill players like Jimmy Graham, Andre Johnson, and Keenan Allen will go a long way in deciding the victor in each of these contests.
