PFF-Week-Down-SouthIt’s your last chance to get caught up on the happenings at PFF before the next slate of games is upon us and our new ‘PFF Week’ posts provide quick access to the week that was. Week 10 Wrap

Week 10 featured the last two winless teams managed to notch their first wins, while the Carolina Panthers picked up a signature win. New Orleans was the only other South team to win, as the Texans lost a close one to Arizona and the Falcons and Colts were easily handled by differing levels of opponent. As usual our team have taken a refocused look at all of the games and picked out the performances of note.

Of course our team wanted to look at more than individual games and see who played the best, and worst, across all the games so Khaled Elsayed put together the PFF Team of the Week and the “Had a Bad Day” team. The Race for Rookie of the Year continued and it wasn't a good week for the South rookies, with the highest rated, Star Lotulelei, featuring in the previously mentioned had a bad day team and no other rookies mentioned.

Looking to Week 11

With Thursday Night Football featuring an AFC South divisional game, Week 11 has already begun for a quarter of the teams in the South divisions. Our team have already taken a look at the game with Ben Stockwell looking at the performances that decided the matchup and Sam Monson took an in-depth look at Chris Johnson and his running in a bonus edition of Analysis Notebook. Of course that still leaves six teams in five games, including a Monday night match up for the Panthers, to look at and of course the PFF team have looked at the three areas to focus on in each game.
