PFF Week: Back East, Week 4
It’s your last chance to get caught up on the happenings at PFF before the next slate of games is upon us, and our new ‘PFF Week’ posts provide quick access to the week that was. The ‘Back East’ edition covers all things pertaining to the AFC and NFC East divisions for a one-stop Saturday shop built to keep you in the loop and on top of your football-watching game.
Week 4 is upon us and will be a big factor in which direction a number of Back East teams will be heading. NewEngland and Miami both try and stay perfect and will be under the spotlight in primetime on Sunday and Monday night. The rest of our teams are in various stages of disrepair and dysfunction, with the possible exception of Dallas in the wide open NFC East. Looking ahead to Week 4
Palazzolo’s Pitch looks at players getting smaller, particularly safeties and linebackers. The Patriots continue to be the only Back East team to get any real love in the Power Rankings and PFF Pick’em looks at how our analysts feel each team will fare in Week 4 (with very little consensus). Peter Damilatis has his Injury Report: Next Man Up, Week 4 which fills you in on the key players that have to step up in the face of adversity including those called upon to replace Henry Hynoski and Anthony Spencer. Also, Neil Hornsby checks in on the league’s top special teamers in The Third Phase.
