PFF Pick’em: Week 17

2014-PickemWell, it’s come down to this… Gordon’s once insurmountable lead has dwindled to a single game as Ben has clawed back, shaving eight wins off the margin since Week 13. The lone game they disagreed on last week was fitting for our race as San Diego’s comeback win over the 49ers fell in Ben’s favor. The Chargers will again be involved, this time for the final outcome, as the two games that will decide it will be [email protected] and [email protected]; Gordon needing just one to claim the title.

In the bigger picture, the 170-win mark is easily within reach for both (and for Steve as well), but matching the best season we’ve seen in past years will take a special card from our leaders. Gordon is 14 wins shy of the top.

* Update, with the final tally, Gordon edges Ben to take the crown and turns in our second-best Pick’em season to date:

1. 2012 Nathan, 176-80
2. 2014 Gordon, 174-81-1
3. 2014 Ben, 173-82-1
4. 2011 Ben, 173-82
5. 2011 Neil, 171-84
6. 2011 Rick, 171-84
7. 2013 Khaled, 170-85-1
8. 2013 Rick, 169-86-1
9. 2014 Steve, 168-87-1
10. 2013 Sam, 167-88-1
11. 2013 Nathan, 166-89-1
12. 2014 Nathan, 164-91-1
13. 2012 Steve, 164-92

  • Pacoheadley

Not one person on the Lions hey?

    • Paul Yarmoluk

That usually bodes well for the Lions (when no one picks them to win).

      • David Stinnett

On the road, that’s a reasonable pick

I think Gordon has probably got it in the bag. Philly has nothing to play for and has to be feeling pretty demoralized right now. Plus they really don’t have an answer for Odell since their cornerbacks blow. I expect Beckham to have another monster game.

      Go Beckham
