PFF Pick’em: Week 11

2014-Pickem

With the focus of recent weeks on the damage done by those chasing Gordon, the fact remains that he’s pacing the field and hasn’t given opportunity to close the gap. That trend continued in Week 10 as Gordon did enough to match for the top card again and maintained his lead while becoming the first of our guys to reach the 100-win plateau for the season.

Our season-high nine consensus picks didn’t fare so well as three were tripped up, taking our tally for the year back down under 76% (49-16-1). Giving it another go this week, we’ve got seven that were chosen by everyone (MIA, CLE, NO, WAS, DEN, SD, and PIT) as we work back toward that 80% mark.

Damn. Only two pick kansas city over seattle in kansas city? Not a bet I’d take given the season ending IR of Mebane and kc allowing the 2nd fewest ppg.

    • Chris

Rediscover implies he knew how to do it once before huehuehuehue *trolling intesifies*

I do agree Seattle is not a smart bet. On the road, offense sputtering a bit, defense already having issues and now losing Mebane. Just not a good spot for them at all.

      • [email protected]

Unless the Chiefs are going to start Kniles Davis its not too much to worry about for this week. Jamaal Charles isn’t exactly an inside runner.

        • eYeDEF

Jr sweezy is not playing like an All Pro. He gave up more qb pressures last week than the rest of the line combined, including a sack. All pro guards are just as adept in pass protection as they are in run blocking. Sweezy has been nothing short of woefully inadequate in pass protection, your shameless revisionism notwithstanding.
The TON of players you listed as coming back from injury had all returned last week except kam. So once again you demonstrate your willful ignorance in spades and characteristic propensity to lie through your teeth. But, everyone already knows that.

            http://espn.go.com/blog/seattle-seahawks/post/_/id/9861/j-r-sweezy-the-bright-spot-on-seattles-o-line

Yes, everybody has a different opinion than you is lying. You’re such an asshole.

          • eYeDEF

Way to miss my point entirely. I was pointing out your bald face lies, facts you cant dispute because you know I’m right.

          • [email protected]

Were you hoping to upset me? Sorry, i really don’t care what obvious trolls say. I do enjoy a battle of the wits but you are unarmed.

          • eYeDEF

So is that what this is about for you? Upsetting you and your emo feelings?!? WaAHAHAHAHA. Pathetic. I feel compelled to point out falsehoods and propaganda whenever I see it. I can’t help myself. And you’re about as shameless as they come as far as propagandists go. This is not about you and your emo troll self. This is about a commitment to truth and accuracy. As deluded as usual you think it’s all about you.

          • [email protected]

I honestly hope you are just trolling, because that is a serious psychological disorder if you honestly believe that everybody with a different opinion is full of lies and propaganda.

You say you feel compelled? What other compulsions do you have?

          • eYeDEF

Lolololol. Trying to act like you’re a clinical psychiatrist when you’re obviously not qualified doesn’t fool anyone either. Hilarious. There’s a difference between having a legitimate difference in opinion and having an onion based on lies, bullshit, and propaganda like you feel compelled to do every time you post. You’re obviously just too dumb to recognize the difference.

          • Kc Duce

Battle of the wits……………….???????? How many touch downs did wilson throw?………….. oh wait you said 3 right?………..Dude ……….please……………… stop talking………………….. stay in school and keep a low profile……………..and learn to check things out before you open your mouth………………… it will save you much embarrassment in the future.

          • David Stinnett

A few more coming, that was only half. C.Helfet, B. Maxwell, M.Smith, B.Coyle, J.Lane. Go easy on Sweezy, he converted from defense, he’s learning.

          • eYeDEF

But Helfet, Maxwell, and Lane all played last week so they can’t really be considered as players that are “coming back”. I still have hopes that Sweezy can improve and tighten up the major deficiency in his game. I just get tired of reading about his premature coronation as an all-pro only to see him give up another sack with wilson lying flat on his back the following game because of his poor pass protection. Tom Cable said the same thing during the preseason and was ridiculous then as it is now.

          • David Stinnett

ok well they didn’t choke last week so we’ll see.

          • [email protected]

Hey dumbass, guys that came back last week are still ‘coming back’. It doesn’t have to literally be the first time they’ve played. Are you going to accuse him of being a liar too? You are sad.

          • eYeDEF

Aww … you’re feeling picked on now because I called you a liar and not him. How very emo of you. Sorry bub, you’ve got a long and storied track record of deceit and obfuscation. So you naturally get no benefit of the doubt. That goes without saying. Oh, and btw your “All Pro” hero you’ve been raving about forever, got absolutely demolished today both in run blocking and pass protection. He got literally destroyed when trying to block for Marshawn Lynch on that 4th and 1. but don’t worry I’m sure he’ll always be an all-pro in your mind, but the rest us just happen to have standards.

          • [email protected]

Are you mad because you were so wrong about the game? Marshawn Lynch ran all over the Chiefs and Russell Wilson threw 3 TD passes.

          • eYeDEF

You mean where I suggested it would be hard for the hawks to win? Nope, I was right there. Or how I said the chiefs hadn’t allowed a rushing touchdown all year so wilson would have to rediscover how to throw for touchdowns again to have a shot? Nope, I was completely on the money there too. The Seahawks didn’t score a rushing touchdown all game long. So where did I actually say these things you imagined I said scottie? LOLOLOLOLOLOL. Fact is I didn’t. Being wrong is what you do so well kid, not me. You can’t even recite Wilson’s stat line without getting it wrong, he threw for 2 touchdowns, not 3. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Poor little scottie, so very bitter yet try as you might you just can’t get anything right. Lolololololol. No wonder why trolls love to bait you when you’re such easy prey. Every time you try for a comeback you end up CLOWNING YOURSELF. Wahahahahaha!!!!

          • Dohkay

I came back to this thread to see this exchange. Can’t say I’m surprised. Scott is a clown and never disappoints.

          • Kc Duce

Ummmmmmmm Dude………. are ya a little slow or what ? 3 td passes ? seriously ?……….The score was 20 – 24 chiefs ……..i DIDNT SEE ANYONE MISS THE POINT AFTER LOL 3 X 7=21…………..DERRRRRR…………ok no more talking to you, you have do idea even what the cacts are lol

          • [email protected]

Yes, i said he threw 3 TD passes. 2 were caught 1 was dropped.

          • El81

Touchdowns are by definition receptions and can’t be drops dipshit.

          • [email protected]

We had this game until Max Unger went out. He makes a huge difference in the run game. Despite the loss the Seahawks still have a decent shot to make the playoffs. The Eagles have Mark Sanchez, and the Cowboys are getting exposed. If our schedule wasn’t so tough we’d have it made.

          • Kc Duce

I went back through the game play by play………….. Truth is Unger was getting his butt kicked and they had no choice but to double team Poe. But we see Poe get double teamed every week……….. If Kc doesnt turn the ball over TWICE this game is a total blow out…………… Do the math you loose yards points and time of poss……….No turn overs and game is 38-10 CHIEFS.

          • David Stinnett

Be easier actually if Dallas take the Division–they have tiebreaker competing for wildcard. If we beat Eagles it can be opposite situation.

        • Kc Duce

Im sorry…………………… what were you saying?………………… no one was listening.

    • [email protected]

The only good rushing team the Chiefs have played is the 49ers and Frank Gore ran for 107 yards on 18 carries and the 49ers won the game. KC is a very good team, especially at home. Seahawks are going to have to bring their A game to win this one.

  • Nick Demola

Washington and San Diego are losses. Sorry guys.

  • David Stinnett

Lynch will get 2 TD’s, at least 1 rushing, in spite of KC allowing 0 so far

    • Kc Duce

Apparently you didnt study your opponents very well………………….Now you know! ………… consider your self educated on the chiefs now and stop listening to what YOU WANT TO HEAR

      • David Stinnett

if I had listened I wouldn’t have said that

  • Kc Duce

Wow …….. A lot of people looking like idiots today………………….. Charles doesnt run between the tackles…….lol………..Consider your self properly educated today.

  • Kc Duce

lol heyyyyyyyy ……………………. No sea hawks fans here today?
