After 2011's Pick'em saw three of our analysts surpass the 170-win mark, Nathan Jahnke was the only to do so in 2012 as he took home the title with a 176-80 (68.8%) record. Nathan's vault to the top was on the back of a 17-win improvement over his 2011 performance (PED-check?) and had him clear of Steve Palazzolo's second-place effort by 13 games.
As a group, over the course of the season, the PFF-ers called 93 consensus picks and hit on 74 of them for a very respectable 79.6 win percentage — a number they'll be looking to improve upon this year, while also taking Nathan down a peg.
To get things started, the staff selected five across-the-board winners for Week 1: New England, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Houston — here's to a season-opening sweep in the consensus department.
