Page of Fame: Cornerbacks

Welcome to the Pro Football Focus Page of Fame for cornerbacks, where only the best overall regular season performances during our time grading (2007 to Present) are mentioned.

If this is your first visit to a “PFF PoF” then the rules are pretty simple. The highest grades from the regular season make the list, and at the end of every year we update.

  • Andrew

People have been calling Revis or Bailey or someone else the best corner the last 6+ years but it looks like Winfeild has been the best CB.

    • David

Probably because they’re thinking of coverage abilities. Winfield is a strong cover corner, but his presence on this list is mostly because of his strengths in all the other fields especially run defense. Based solely on coverage grades Winfield falls completely out of the top 10.

  • David

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Hayward is the only rookie on this list.

  • George McDowell

Champ Bailey’s 2005 season was the best any CB has ever had. Too bad you didn’t go back that far.

  • Tony

Sherman had 8 picks last year.
