Week 15 DraftKings Plays

Each week I’ll comb through the options at each position to bring you my picks for the players with the best combination of safety and upside over a wide price range. These are guys you’ll use in cash games for the most part, but there’s nothing wrong with slotting a couple into your tournament lineups as well for stability. There are so many more players that I want exposure to this week than I can possibly write about, so I’ve tried to highlight situations that could be taken advantage of in more than one way.

Note: if you play a slate starting Saturday night, I love Bilal Powell $3600, Brandon Marshall $7600 and the Jets D/ST ($3300) too.

DraftKings

Quarterback

Carson Palmer $7000: The Eagles are almost always projected to be involved in high scoring games and this week is no exception. The Cardinals get the fourth most generous fantasy defense for quarterbacks and the second best defense for wide receivers this week in Philadelphia.

With a healthy suite of receiving options (Michael Floyd ($4400) is my favorite) and one of the most efficient 2015 quarterback seasons (0.59 fantasy points per dropback), Palmer is the one-stop shop to get exposure to this whole passing game. Even David Johnson, a popular pick this week, benefits largely from his receiving game. Palmer has so many possible ways to score fantasy points that a 4-5 TD game would not surprise me at all.

Tom Brady $7800: The most expensive QB on the board is Brady in a nice matchup with the Titans who allow opposing quarterbacks the fifth-most fantasy points. Brady should have Julian Edelman (I think he’ll play in a limited fashion) and Rob Gronkowski, though it wouldn’t surprise me if both took it easy if the Pats go up big early on. Since the Patriots never really take the gas off I could still see plenty of second half passing to Danny Amendola and/or James White. While I’m not sure who else benefits the most offensively, I am sure that Brady will show up come Sunday.
