These are guys you’ll use in cash games for the most part, but there’s nothing wrong with slotting a couple into your tournament lineups as well for stability.
Quarterback
Tony Romo $7,300: Taking the quarterback in one of the week’s highest projected scoring games is generally a smart move, and there are several elite options to choose from in Week 1, including Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, and Peyton Manning.
Romo is priced significantly below them but has similar upside. He has two trusted and productive receiving options in Dez Bryant and Jason Witten (see below), plus what should amount to a solid rushing attack. Romo typically shreds the Giants, averaging +5 fantasy points more per game against them than other teams over the past four seasons.
