Making moves after Week 1 is always tricky, especially in dynasty leagues. There’s not as much urgency since you’re in it for the long haul but, at the same time, it could be the perfect time to improve your roster. Let’s take a look at some names you should watch including a couple of perennial fantasy studs.

Calvin Johnson – WR – Detroit Lions – Though Johnson has a long-standing reputation as the top receiver in dynasty rankings, if not the top player, it’s finally time to downgrade him in dynasty rankings.
The peak of Johnson’s dominance was a fairly recent three-year stretch from 2011-2013, when he averaged 100 catches for 1,712 yards and 11 touchdowns. Most dynasty players would kill to have one season like that from a receiver, let alone three. But Johnson owners saw a severe drop in his production last year with just 71 catches for 1,077 yards. It was still a good season by any measure, but not the elite WR1 production we’re used to having.
