A.J. Hawk remained the every-down linebacker for the Packers in Week 12, but Brad Jones showed that he can have still value despite coming off the field in certain subpackages. Jones posted ten total tackles and a sack. Going forward, it’s tough to trust Jones as anything more than a high ceiling LB3 unless he regains every-down duties. … It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Lions are currently the third-best fantasy matchup for defensive backs. Morgan Burnett has double-digit tackles in three of his last four games. He’s set up for a big Thanksgiving. Lock Burnett in as a DB1.
Ziggy Ansah had a strong showing in his first game since Week 8, posting two sacks and two QB hits. Ansah is on my short list of favorites for a 2014 breakout. He also gets a pretty strong matchup this week against a Packers team that currently gives up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing defensive linemen. Make sure Ansah is in your starting lineup this week.
