Brandon Weeden played 23 snaps in Thursday’s preseason debut. This was a pretty strong sample of snaps, which allows us to get a better idea of what to expect from the 2013 Browns’ offense.
Some notes of interest:
1. Jordan Cameron was the clear No. 1 tight end, working 20 of the snaps. He was in the slot on seven of those plays and out wide another two.
2. You can mark Gary Barnidge down as a starter, as well. He played ahead of Kellen Davis and was on the field for 16 snaps with Weeden. That included three snaps in place of Cameron and another 13 with Cameron. The Browns are going to use a lot of tight ends, which is bad news for …
