StarStreet Pick 5 for Week 7

petersonAdrian2007-11-04One of my favorite games over at StarStreet is their Pick 5, which you can play for free each week to win a ticket to other daily games or for money.

The game is simple. There's five player vs. player matchups, and you pick who you think will score more that week. The best part is that you can play straight from our site by clicking here.

Here's this week's Pick 5:

Tony Romo vs. Aaron Rodgers

Adrian Peterson vs. LeSean McCoy

Matt Forte vs. Marshawn Lynch

A.J. Green vs. Brandon Marshall

Wes Welker vs. Victor Cruz

There's some pretty tough choices here, but here's my picks for Week 6:

Tony Romo vs. Philadelphia

Tony Romo should light up  the Eagles secondary, which is porous to say the least. The Eagles are ranked 31st in pass yards allowed per game, and 29th in points allowed. Rodgers will be without Randall Cobb for the next few weeks, and is not a recommended option over Tony Romo this week.

Adrian Peterson vs. New York

The toughest pick of the year so far, but Adrian Peterson will come out hungry after only getting 13 touches last week. AP will amass over a hundred yards against the Giants. Keep in mind that Josh Freeman is now the starter in Minnesota, and he loved to dump the ball off in Tampa. Peterson will be in for a huge day.

Matt Forte vs. Washington

In StarStreet's scoring system, Matt Forte has been a staple. Running and catching the ball with the best of them, Forte has been one of the must picks in StarStreet every week. Marshawn Lynch does not catch the ball out of the backfield nearly as much as Forte, which is why the edge this week goes to Matt Forte against a terrible Redskins defense.

Brandon Marshall vs. Washington

Arguably two of the best wide receivers in the game in Marshall and A.J. Green face off in this week's pick 5. Marshall is a no brainer this week against the Redskins, who have nobody to cover Marshall. Expect him to catch a minimum of seven passes and could easily catch a dozen. A.J. Green also has a good matchup against the Lions, but Marshall has an even better one, and will see more targets. Marshall is the pick this week.

Wes Welker vs. Indianapolis

Victor Cruz has a good matchup against the Vikings, and the Giants will be passing the ball all night long. But Wes Welker is Peyton Manning's go-to target, and will see about 12-15 targets on Sunday Night Football this week. Manning will look to have a huge game in primetime against his former team, and with Welker as his favorite target, you cannot pick against him this week.

Don't forget, Pick 5 can be played on our site as well.
