Welcome to Snaps, Pace, and Stats, which takes a macro view of emerging trends in snap totals and no-huddle usage. This year I’ll be looking at individual players in a Friday column that’s free for non-subscribers and revolves around recommended DraftKings plays.
Week 7 has two snap-friendly teams on bye, as Philadelphia (71.7 plays allowed on average) and Tampa Bay (72 per game over the last month) head for vacation going in different directions. Despite the absence of those offensive catalysts, this should be a relatively high-scoring week. Vegas has set over/under projections of at least 49 for six games, although there are five contests with sub-45 point estimates, as well.
