Snaps, Pace, & Stats - Week 10
Welcome to Snaps, Pace, and Stats, which takes a macro view of emerging trends in snap totals and no-huddle usage. This year, I’ll be looking at individual players in a Friday column that’s free for non-subscribers and revolves around recommended DraftKings plays.
Despite a number of high-powered offensive teams taking a Week 9 vacation, the average snap total was a season-high 65.6 per game. The points-scored average (24.1) was the fourth-highest of the year, only 0.09 points per game out of third. Week 10 will also be without several fantasy-friendly squads and features just one matchup with an over/under in the 50s. Then again, Week 9 projected to be low-scoring at this time last week, so let’s focus on the things we do know…
