The Seattle Seahawks struggled in Week 11, losing 20-24 to a Kansas City Chiefs team that could run at will, gaining 190 yards at 6.3 yards per attempt on the ground. However the Seahawks rebounded superbly with a dominating 19-3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Buoyed by the return of middle linebacker Bobby Wagner, they held the Cardinals to just 64 rushing yards and 3.2 yards per attempt.
Wagner was returning after six weeks out with a turf toe injury and played every snap bar one. He stood out in run defense, with 6 tackles, 3 of which were stops against the run, earning him a 17.6 Run Stop Percentage which was fifth-best among starting inside linebackers in Week 12. Wagner missed zero tackles on his way to a team leading +2.8 grade against the run, fourth-best among all inside linebackers in Week 12. Wagner's 25.5 Combined Tackling Efficiency rate ranks second out of 66 qualifying inside linebackers this season, his return is well timed for a Seahawks team trying to force its way into the playoffs.
