WR Antonio Brown put up a big time performance Thursday night

  • Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown enjoyed yet another mightily productive game for his team, as the Steelers cruised to a 40-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football. Brown’s performance earned a PFF overall game grade of 85.2, the highest grade of the night.
  • Brown hauled in all 10 of his catchable targets for three touchdowns and 146 yards, with 64 of those yards coming from passes that traveled at least 20 yards downfield. Brown ended the game with a wide receiver rating of 156.9, the best mark of the game and the highest rating of his season so far.
  • Brown did the majority of his damage against rookie cornerback Adoree Jackson, where he was targeted eight times and caught six passes for 76 yards and one of his touchdowns. When targeting Brown against Jackson, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger posted a passer rating of 143.8.
  • This performance takes Brown’s season grade up to 91.1 after 10 games, currently the best mark among receivers, and through those games, Brown is averaging 2.85 yards per route run (second-best among receivers) and has dropped just one pass from 71 catchable targets, which further cements his place as one of the elite receiving threats in the NFL.
