White apparently struggling with 'confidence'

  • According to the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Bears WR Kevin White has been struggling with confidence during training camp. Since being drafted with the seventh overall pick in the 2015 draft, White has suffered two season-ending injuries to the same leg.
  • White has only played a total of 192 snaps during his two years in the NFL, all of which came in the 2016 season during the first four games before a leg fracture ended his season. In 2015, White never saw the field after suffering a stress fracture during OTAs.
  • In 2014, White was one of the best deep-threat receivers in college football. His seven receiving touchdowns on deep passes, tied for the third-most that season. He had the sixth-most receptions on such passes with 16 and his 543 receiving yards ranked eighth.
