  • Word is out of the Tennessee Titans OTAs is that 2017 third-round draft pick WR Taywan Taylor out of Western Kentucky is “always making plays.”
  • This should come as no surprise, as Taylor consistently made plays throughout his college career at Western Kentucky. His PFF receiving grade went from 74.2 in 2014 to 86.7 in 2015 to 84.1 in 2016.
  • Taylor’s 2.46 yards per route run in his 2014 season was 47th-highest out 344 wide receivers who ran at least 300 receiving routes. That number jumped significantly in his 2015 season (4.08 YPRR, third out of 332 eligible WRs), and stayed in that stratosphere for his final year at WKU (3.91 YPRR, fourth out of 264 WRs).
  • Taylor is a quarterback’s best friend. His WR ratings (the QB’s rating when a receiver is thrown to) for his past three years at Western Kentucky has been 158.1, 150.8, and 134.8 respectively.
