- John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported that Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller suffered a broken collarbone in Wednesday's practice and will be out for two to three months. Fuller will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by Braxton Miller or Jaelen Strong.
- Fuller was drafted by Houston in the first round in 2016 and played 959 snaps as a rookie. His PFF grade of 50.9 ranked him 95th out of 115 qualifying wide receivers last season.
- Last year, 34.5 percent of Fuller's targets were on deep passes (targeted 20-plus yards downfield), the fourth-highest deep pass rate of wide receivers with at least 20 deep targets. He dropped six of 53 catchable passes last year, for the sixth-worst drop rate of wide receivers who were targeted at least 80 times.
