Saints Edge Jordan has been showing strong in camp

  • ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett reports edge defender Cameron Jordan has been “flashing more” than any other player in New Orleans Jordan finished the 2016 season as the third-ranked edge defender with a grade of 92.4.
  • Jordan was one of five edge defenders to rank in the top 10 in both pass-rushing grade (91.9 – second-best) and run-defense grade (87.5 – eighth) in 2016.
  • Over the last two seasons, Jordan’s 104 quarterback hurries ranks fourth among all edge defenders in the league. He has recorded 46 run stops since 2015 as well, which has evaluated his game into a more complete level overall. Still just 28 years old, Jordan is in the prime of his career and could be even better in 2017.
