  • Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com reported that Chicago Bears safety Quintin Demps will be out indefinitely after breaking his arm on Sunday. The Bears are still deciding if they will place Demps on injured reserve.
  • Demps signed as a free agent with the Bears this offseason. He posted a career high PFF grade of 86.7 with Houston in 2016, but was off to a slow start this year with a 4 overall grade that is currently 70th of 82 qualifying safeties.
  • Last season Demps led all safeties with six interceptions, and his 0.35 yards per cover snap was 14th of 56 safeties with 350-plus snaps in coverage. Adrian Amos will likely replace Demps in the lineup.
