  • According to Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, QB Russell Wilson “looks great moving around.” Wilson struggled with an MCL sprain last season, which led to the worst rushing season of his career statistically.
  • Wilson’s running grade of 79.5 last season was the worse of his career but was still good enough to rank eighth in the NFL. The quarterback has ranked inside the top 10 every season since entering the league in this category, including rankings of fourth (2015), first (2014), first (2013) and second (2012).
  • Wilson’s overall PFF grade of 89.6 last season was the second lowest of his career but still ranked inside the top 10 of quarterbacks in 2016, a mark he has achieved every season of his career, ranking fifth (2016), fifth (2015), tied for eighth (2014), fifth (2013) and tied for first (2012).
  • Last season Wilson excelled when using play action, ranking second in passer rating (121.8) and second in completion % (73.6).
