S Orion Stewart, 88.0 overall grade

HB De'Angelo Henderson, 81.7 overall grade

EDGE Danny Mason, 80.1 overall grade

DI Shakir Soto, 79.0 overall grade

HB De'Angelo Henderson, 81.7 overall grade

QB Trevor Siemian, 73.0 overall grade

Siemian finished with the best overall grade (73.0) of the Broncos' quarterbacks. He completed both of his intermediate passes (targeted 10-19 yards downfield) for 25 yards.

S Orion Stewart, 88.0 overall grade

Stewart had a solid outing all-around, but especially in coverage. He was targeted four times on 15 snaps in coverage, and allowed two catches for just a combined four yards, both of which resulted in defensive stops. He also added another stop in run defense.

DI Shelby Harris, 88.8 overall grade

Top 5 Grades

G Tom Compton, 86.0 overall grade

QB Mitch Trubisky, 85.1 overall grade

LB Nick Kwiatoski, 80.2 overall grade

G Taylor Boggs, 79.0 overall grade

DI Jonathan Bullard, 78.0 overall grade

Performances of note:

QB Mitch Trubisky, 85.1 overall grade

If the rookie quarterback continues to play like he did on Thursday night, he's going to make it much more difficult for the Bears' front office and coach staff to stick to their plan of having him sit as a rookie. Although it was just one half of a preseason game against backups, he still played well when many rookie quarterbacks struggle in the preseason. When accounting for batted passes. drops, throwaways, and spikes, Trubisky's adjusted completion percentage was 90.9 percent.

RBs Ka'Deem Carey, 76.1 overall grade; Tarik Cohen, 72.1 overall grade

The Bears' backups to Jordan Howard had a few impressive runs, despite many of the reserve offensive linemen not performing that well in the run game. Carey and Cohen combined for three runs over ten yards, while Benny Cunningham rattled off the longest run of the game for the Bears at 26 yards, and led the way with his 52.4 elusive rating.

DI Jonathan Bullard, 78.0 overall grade

Bullard was a disruptive force on the line of scrimmage for the Bears' defense. He had two stops in the run game and provided one quarterback pressure on his 13 pass-rush snaps. .

LB Nick Kwiatkoski, 80.2 overall grade

Impressive in coverage, Kwiatkoski only allowed one reception for six yards in and yet was more impressive as a run defender with three run stops and a 81.0 run defense grade.
