Redskins optimistic Junior Galette will be ready for training camp

The Washington Redskins are hopeful that Junior Galette can provide a boost to the team’s pass rush this season.
In 2014, Galette finished as the 11th ranked edge defender with an 85.8 overall grade while playing for the New Orleans Saints.
Galette’s 67 total QB pressures finished sixth among edge defenders while his 12.2 pass rush productivity was tops for 4-3 defensive ends.
He will be joining an edge defender group that includes Ryan Kerrigan, Trent Murphy and Preston Smith, who combined for 161 pressures in 2016.
