- As reported by Greg Bell of The News Tribune, Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise injured his groin during pregame warmups prior to the preseason Week 2 game against the Vikings.
- Prosise played two years of wide receiver before switching to running back his final season at Notre Dame. He led the Seahawks running backs in receiving yards (208) and was second in targets (18) while playing in only 147 snaps all season, 82 of which were snaps in route.
- The former Fighting Irish player ended the season with the 2.54 yards per route run, the second-highest among backs with at least 50 snaps in route.
