  • The Los Angeles Rams announced on their website that they have signed linebacker Alec Ogletree to a four-year contract extension. Ogletree was in the final year of the deal he signed with the Rams as a first-round pick in 2013.
  • In Ogletree's rookie season of 2013 he was PFF's 34th-ranked linebacker with an overall 75.2 grade, the best of his career thus far. This year, his 37.4 PFF grade ranks 80th of 86 qualifying linebackers.
  • Missed tackles have been an issue with Ogletree, as his 27 missed tackles in 2016 were the most of any linebacker. So far this season his 6.3 tackling efficiency (number of attempted tackles per miss) ranks 69th of 88 linebackers with 10-plus attempts.
