  • Speaking to the media Monday, Oakland Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio mentioned that wide receiver Amari Cooper needs to figure out a way to cut down his early-season drops.
  • Through the first three games of 2017, Cooper has struggled, as his overall grade of 40.1 ranks 107th out of 109 qualifying receivers.
  • After dropping four of his 87 catchable targets in 2016, Cooper has dropped six of his 16 catchable targets to this point, giving him an alarming drop rate of 37.5 percent.
  • Cooper in his rookie year struggled holding onto the ball, with 18 drops on 90 catchable targets, but he has shown in the past he's able to cut down on the drops over a full season.
